About: Mrs. Wahlen enjoys studying and practicing different types of art including painting, embroidering, and mixed media. Her background is in film production, fashion, and art history. Through her work in the film industry, Mrs. Wahlen has traveled through Asia, Africa, Central and South America, and Europe, and strongly believes in travel-activated learning. She enjoys playing board games, reading, gardening, treasure-hunting at second hand stores, and cooking. Her and her husband have twin elementary-age sons.
