Principal's Message

Thank you for your interest in Aquinas High School.  We are very proud of not just our school, but more importantly, of our students.  Last year we celebrated our 60th anniversary and in the process ushered in an unprecedented era of growth and excitement.  Over the next year and a half we will see the completion of three new buildings that will completely change the way that Aquinas educates our students and in turn change the face of education in San Bernardino forever.

As you may or may not know, our mission is to “form through education…leaders in the light and truth of the Gospel of Jesus”.  What we are doing is formation education through many different means.  Our community service requirement is one that teaches our students to be faithful stewards and what it means to serve.  Our athletic programs teach students the importance of teamwork and that hard work means success.  In over 60 years of athletic competition Aquinas has won over 100 league championships, 5 CIF championships, and 2 state titles.  Not to mention the hundreds of individual athletic recognitions that our student-athletes have received.  Finally, our academic program gives students the knowledge that they need to be productive citizens, in an ever-changing world full of challenges.  With a 100% graduation rate and a college acceptance rate of 98% it is easy to see the importance and emphasis we place on academics. We have had 10 National Merit Finalists in the last nine years and this year are proud to announce that we are offering 18 AP classes.  Also, the newly established Engineering Academy in conjunction with our Law and Healthcare academies is proving to be a success in preparing students for careers and college.  We cherish the relationship with our entire Falcon community in continuing to offer college preparatory education to the leaders of tomorrow.

Thank you for all of your support.

St. Thomas Aquinas…Pray for us!
