The Aquinas summer school program allows full-time students to take credit recovery courses they need to meet Aquinas high school graduation requirements and college acceptance requirements. Students are not allowed to enroll in any class to get ahead. Our Counselors must approve any class in which a student wants to enroll. Each summer class period counts as a semester. Three summer classes is the maximum number that a student may attend. Students can download the summer brochure and application from this page or come into the main office to pick up the forms. For current students, if Aquinas offers a particular class during summer, students must attend the Aquinas summer session. If Aquinas doesn't offer a particular class, they must use Aquinas’ Online Academy (myonlinehighschool.com). Contact the counseling department for more information regarding academics.
Any student from another school must provide a current transcript prior to their acceptance into the summer program.
Incoming 9th graders are allowed to participate in the summer session. The Steps Program allows students to get extra help in the subject of math and English prior to attending high school. All classes will be done this summer through an online format. Classes will be done through zoom sessions daily. Each student that is registered will be given an IPad that they will use for the classes. The IPad pickup will be the week of June 8th to the June 12th. Information will be email out to all register students.
The 2020 summer session begins on June 22nd and ends on July 10. The school will be closed July 3rd.
The application and brochure below will provide pricing and scheduling details.
