About: Mr. Duenas is a professional musician with skills trained primarily with trombone. Armando has taught K- 8, all high school levels, and is currently a professor and the Director of Bands at University of California Riverside. Mr. Duenas was awarded the Distinguished Teacher of the Year award at Aquinas High in 2021.

Mr. Duenas also serves as the General Manager for the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians Performing Arts Center. In addition, he is the Director of Academies: Healthcare, Law, Visual & Performing Arts, and Engineering. When away from his variety of duties, he loves spending time with Pacific Crest Youth Arts Organization as a volunteer chef. Armando also loves spending time with his wife, Lisa and his son, Eric.
