Memorial Service for Mrs. Michelle Roden--

SCHOOL IS CANCELLED FOR THIS FRIDAY--
As you may know last week Aquinas suffered a huge loss to our community with the passing of Michelle Roden. Mrs. Roden served the Aquinas community for over 25 years and during this time impacted the lives of hundreds of students. Her impact is immeasurable and will never be forgotten. A funeral service will be held this Friday January 27th at 11:00 AM at St. Paul Episcopal Church 242 E. Alvarado in Pomona, 91767. Because of the desire and the amount of current faculty, staff, and students that wish to attend the funeral, school this Friday will be cancelled. We will resume classes on Tuesday January 31st (Monday the 30th is a scheduled teacher in-service day). If you have any questions please contact the main office at 909-886-4659.

Aquinas/St. Bernardine Alumni Mass--

Academic Decathlon Volunteer Opportunity--
We need 6 volunteers plus a person who is qualified to read essays. This is an excellent chance for parents to get some volunteer hours. Contact Dr. Jones for more information: mjones@aquinashs.net
Next Incoming Freshmen Placement Exam--
Saturday, January 28th from 8 am to noon. Students who will be Freshmen in Fall 2012 need to call the office to secure their seat for the exam. The application and $65 fee is due before or on test day. For more information, please call the main office 909-886-4659
New Bleachers for Gym are Here!!!

We are so fortunate to have the support of our friends and neighbors, the San Manuel Band of Mission Indians who generously donated $80,000 through a grant. Combined with individual donors, we now have enough to replace the bleachers in the gym as well as the visitor's football bleachers. Thank you San Manuel!
Uniform Exchange Drop off--
Please bring your clean, gently used uniforms to the main office this week so we can build up our inventory of uniforms for the Exchange Day. For each uniform piece you drop off, you will be given a ticket to be used at a later date to pick other items.
