Mrs. Fiallo has been a part of the Aquinas faculty for the past 3 years. She has 6 years teaching experience at the high school and college level. She currently serves as the Chair of the World Languages Department and teaches Spanish 1, French, and AP Spanish Language and Culture. Mrs. Fiallo has a B.A. in Spanish Business, a B.A. in Spanish Linguistics, Literature & Civilization, and an M.A. in Spanish Linguistics from California State University, San Bernardino. She has participated in AP conferences for her content area and enjoys teaching communication, linguistics, literature, and medical Spanish. She is particularly interested in attending UC Irvine in the future to earn a Doctorate degree in Sociolinguistics as she wants to study the relationship and influence of social factors of the Spanish language in different cities in Pinar del Rio to Havana, Cuba.
