About (interests/hobbies, classes, etc.): Dr. Lau was born in Lima, Peru. She loves to travel, hiking trips, reading, going to the gym, and baseball games. When traveling she likes to read as much as she can about the region she is visiting in order to familiarize herself with their culture. She also enjoys museums and comedy clubs. In her free time she likes to spend time with her friends and family, especially with her niece.
