About (interests/hobbies, classes, etc.): Ms. Lopez’s interests include literature, history, and world languages. A graduate from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, where she studied Classics and creative writing, she is well-read in classical literature and has participated in a number of creative affairs, including performing in and writing plays for Bedlam Theatre, volunteering as an exhibition guide at the National Museum of Scotland, and contributing to the University of Edinburgh’s student anthology, From Arthur’s Seat. Off-campus, she can be found haunting local coffee shops with a pen and espresso in hand, writing and researching for her historical fiction novel. As a coffee aficionado and a former barista, she can make a mean flat white.
