About: Ms. Mejico is interested in educational best practices, differentiated multi-tier support systems, and tutoring to acceleration. She is the English Department Chair, a provider of after-school academic assistance, and is a member of the WASC Accreditation team.  Ms. Mejico was awarded the La Riviere Society Excellence in Teaching Award 2020-2021 for her work here at Aquinas. She was also the recipient of the Distinguished Teacher Award by the Diocese of Catholic Schools 2022-2023. She has a passion for teaching and learning that includes time as a classroom teacher, coach, and school administrator.  When she’s not working, she is enjoying family time with her daughter and grandsons.
